Torsionally Flexible Couplings
 
   
 
   

NENFLEX Series QDC/QDH couplings are designed for heavy machinery, where quick connection between the driver and the driven machine is desired. It allows removal of equipment from line without disturbing the foundation, in three simple steps. Only two sets of bolts need to be removed without axial movement of shafts.

Torque is transmitted through individual free floating elastomeric drive inserts which are radially disposed around the periphery of the coupling, permitting assembly and removal without dismantling the coupling.

 
 

The QDC couplings are designed with standard spacer lengths or DBSE (Distance between Shaft Ends) of 135, 140 and 180mm. The QDH Couplings have a standard spacer length of 180mm. Couplings with other spacer lengths can be supplied as non-standard.

Typical Applications: Power Generation, Thermal Power Plants, Huge Blowers, Large Pumps, Steel Mills, Cement Machinery, Sugar & Paper Plants, Compressors & Similar Heavy duty applications.

 
   
   
   
   
     
 
 
   
  The New NENFLEX® advantage!  
 

The new NENFLEX drive inserts are the subject matter of a patent & come with a special profile which allows only a partial contact with the driver & the driven jaws at no load. When torque is applied the entire surface of the drive insert comes into contact. There is less abrasion & heat build up which enhances the service life of the drive insert & the coupling.
